Recent team member promotions

Tyler Demers, P.E. has been promoted to Senior Geotechnical Engineer at our Somersworth, New Hampshire location. He started at S.W. Cole in 2011 as a laboratory and field technician during the summers while getting his degree at the University of Maine in Civil Engineering. Following completion of his master’s degree at the University of New Hampshire, Tyler was hired as a Geotechnical Engineer. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. He graduated from the Stephen W. Cole Emerging Leaders program in 2021.  

Tyler consistently demonstrates his commitment to our team and our clients. He invests in mentoring and coaching younger engineers and technicians to enable them to accomplish increasingly difficult tasks and advance their careers. He is laser-focused on delivering projects on-time and within budget with sensible solutions for our clients.  His technical competence and project management skills lead to him being regularly engaged on challenging projects. Tyler is pleasant, collaborative, and coachable, making him a valuable member of our company and “Trusted Advisor” to our clients and strategic Partners.

Bryce Walker, E.I.T.

Bryce Walker, E.I.T. has been promoted to Project Geotechnical Engineer at our Londonderry, New Hampshire office. He started working at S.W. Cole during the summer of 2020 as a Construction Services Technician and was later promoted to Staff Geotechnical Engineer. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Hartford. 

Bryce’s progression from a Construction Materials Technician to a Project Engineer after 5 years with the company is due to his dedication to field work assignments and willingness to learn. He has been an important contributor to the success of the Londonderry and Somersworth Engineering departments, and we look forward to his continued growth at our company. 

Cameron Donahue has been promoted to Construction Services Technician – Grade I at our Boylston, Massachusetts location. He joined our team in May 2025 as an entry-level Construction Services Technician. Cameron has prior experience in hospitality, retail, and operations, with responsibilities ranging from customer service and team supervision to safety compliance and inventory management. Since joining our team, he has worked diligently to learn his new role and obtain industry certifications.

Kyle Sheehan

Kyle Sheehan has been promoted to Construction Services Technician – Grade I at our Riverside, Rhode Island office. Kyle joined our team in May 2025. He has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, with a minor in sustainability studies, from Roger Williams University. Kyle has done very well acquiring the knowledge to be a Grade 1 technician. He has spent a considerable amount of time preparing for his ACI grade 1 exam and is excited for the next challenge to continue his growth and to gain more experience.  

Hayden Young has been promoted to Construction Services Technician – Grade I at our Sidney, Maine location. He joined S.W. Cole in March 2025 as an entry level Construction Services Technician. Hayden’s growth has been driven by a strong willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities. He consistently performs well in the field, maintains positive communication with clients and contractors, and is always willing to help out as needed.
