We are pleased to recognize Emma Dennis, Project Geotechnical Engineer at our Somersworth, New Hampshire office, as our Quarterly Culture Champion.

Teammates have been impressed by Emma’s ability to fulfill her current job responsibilities while also pushing herself to advance in her career. She has shown initiative in her transition into the Project Geotechnical Engineer role, continuing to take on new responsibilities.

Emma takes advantage of opportunities to expand her skills, evidenced by her participation in professional organization events and her recent completion of our internal leadership development program, the Stephen W. Cole Emerging Leaders Program. While participating in the Emerging Leaders Program, she approached her project work with a high level of organization and attention to detail, completing thorough research and delivering a comprehensive final project.

Colleagues highlight Emma’s responsiveness. She prioritizes timely communication with both clients and her internal teammates, even while working in the field, and is willing to put in additional time when needed to follow through on that commitment.

One recent example of this approach was when, after being notified that we were awarded new work and receiving a subcontract from the client, Emma reviewed the document, coordinated internal review, and returned the signed agreement within a few hours.

Through her work, Emma maintains a positive attitude while continuing to seek out new challenges and opportunities to build her experience.
