First Inaugural Class of the Stephen W. Cole Emerging Leaders Program
Summary: The first inaugural class of the Stephen W. Cole Emerging Leaders Program graduated in August, 2021, at a luncheon ceremony alongside their mentors, leaders in the firm, past and present CEO’s and Stephen W. Cole himself: Founder of S.W.COLE.
We recently celebrated the graduation of our inaugural class of the Stephen W. Cole Emerging Leaders Program. The graduating Emerging Leaders gathered with their mentors, company founder Steve Cole, their supervisors, our Leadership Development Committee, and the S.W.COLE Board of Directors to celebrate their accomplishments over the past year.
The program was inspired by the leadership and mentoring of company founder Steve Cole, who joined the class for their graduation. The Emerging Leaders participated in a series of sessions to learn more about the different service areas of the company, and corporate functions including finance, accounting, human resources, and safety. They also learned about our board of directors’ meetings, how the Board operates, and the details of our corporate structure. Each Emerging Leader made a presentation on a leadership topic, and then completed a project of their choosing to benefit both themselves and the firm. Individual mentors helped guide our leaders throughout the process.
We’re proud of our commitment to training and mentoring the future leaders within our firm and congratulate, once again, our first inaugural class of the Stephen W. Cole Emerging Leaders Program (SWCELP) on their hard work and completion of the program.
