Giroux and Closs promoted

Congratulations to our team members who have recently earned promotions! Thank you for your hard work and commitment to your profession.

Sean Giroux was promoted to Staff Accountant & Analyst at our Corporate Headquarters in Bangor, Maine. Sean joined our team as a Construction Services Technician in August 2018 and was promoted multiple times, most recently serving as an Accounting Specialist and Project Accountant. He has Master and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Accounting from the University of Maine, as well as an associate’s degree in civil engineering from Eastern Maine Community College. Sean brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic to everything he does. He is known for being a team player who is willing to go above and beyond to help others.

Fred Closs is now a Construction Services Technician – Grade II at our Gray, Maine location. Fred joined S.W.COLE in February 2023 as an entry-level Construction Services Technician. Since then, he has earned construction materials testing and special inspections certifications through ICC, ACI and NETTCP. As an experienced technician, Fred has played a key role in training new staff and integrating them into the team. He leads by example and is patient and helpful with anyone who asks for guidance. In addition to assisting new staff, he continues to expand on his own skills and knowledge.
