Construction Materials Testing – Masonry
Our team provides masonry testing services to help measure compliance with project specifications and provide timely information to project teams. We observe masonry installation in the field and perform laboratory testing on masonry materials to help measure their properties.

Field Observation & Documentation
We observe and document the placement of concrete masonry units (CMU) and reinforcing steel, including size, grade, spacing, and embedment. These observations help record how masonry elements are placed during construction.
We also review the use of the specified mortar and grout mixtures and observe how they are placed and cured. Proper mixing and curing techniques support the overall performance of the masonry system.
Fresh Material Testing
During mortar and grout placement, we perform tests to measure air content, material temperature, and slump. These tests provide information about the condition of the fresh materials at the time of installation.
Laboratory Strength Testing
We cast and test compressive strength samples of grout and mortar and perform strength and other property tests on supplied block and masonry prisms. These laboratory tests help document material properties and support project requirements.
