S.W. COLE Announces Personnel Appointments

Bangor, Maine, January 6, 2020:  S. W. Cole Engineering, Inc. (S.W.COLE) is pleased to announce three recent personnel appointments.

professional headshot photo of Nate Strout, P.E.Nate Strout, P.E., is promoted to the position of Office Manager for the Bangor, Maine location. Strout is also a Geotechnical Engineer and Construction Services Manager. He earned an Associate’s degree in Architectural and Civil Engineering Technology from Central Maine Community College in Auburn, a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Maine, and certifications from ACI and NETTCP. He is a Maine Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.), an S.W.COLE shareholder, and has been with the firm since 2008.

Chris Raymond has been named the Assistant Construction Services Manager for S.W.COLE’s Bangor, Maine office. Raymond worked for the firm for about 7 years as a Construction Services Technician and also worked for 1 year as a Construction Inspector for the Maine DOT. He earned an Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Eastern Maine Community College, and holds several construction materials testing and inspection certifications from ACI, ICC, and NETTCP.

Russ Bragg has been appointed S.W.COLE’s Director of Business Development. Bragg will work throughout New England to support the firm’s 8 offices with client and new project development. He has over 35 years of experience in construction materials testing, most recently as S.W.COLE’s Northern Region Construction Services Manager. He is an S.W.COLE shareholder and worked at the company since 1999. Russ is a graduate of Vermont Technical College with an Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and holds several construction materials testing and inspection certifications from ACI and NETTCP.
