S. W. Cole Engineering, Inc. Announces New Leaders 

May 10, 2023, Hermon, Maine: S. W. Cole Engineering, Inc. (S.W.COLE) today announced a new member of its Board of Directors and 2 new shareholders.

Andrew Michaud (left photo) was elected as the newest Director. Andrew is the Regional Branch Offices Manager, managing the Geisser division office in Riverside, RI, and the Londonderry, NH office of S.W. Cole Engineering, Inc. He is a shareholder, and responsible for the daily operations of the branch offices as well as oversight of construction materials testing operations within the Geisser office. Andrew joined S.W.COLE in 1999 as a Construction Services Technician and has been instrumental in the firm’s growth with the establishment of new offices and acquisitions. He earned a BA in Communications from the University of Maine and has earned multiple certifications in CMT and special inspections.  

The firm announced two new shareholders – Tyler Demers, P.E. of the Somersworth, NH office and Hope Taylor, SHRM-CP of the corporate office in Hermon, Maine.  

Tyler (center photo) is a Project Geotechnical Engineer and the Somersworth, NH Office Manager. Tyler earned his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine and started working at S.W.COLE in 2011 as a Laboratory and Field Technician while attending graduate school. He joined the firm as a Staff Geotechnical Engineer after earning his M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.  Tyler was promoted to Project Geotechnical Engineer and is a registered Professional Engineer in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.  

Hope Taylor, SHRM-CP (right photo)  joined S.W.COLE as an Administrative Assistant in 2018 and was promoted to HR Coordinator and to HR Manager. She serves on several corporate committees. Hope earned a BA in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resources from the University of Maine at Augusta. She is a Certified Compensation Analyst (CCA) and SHRM Certified Professional in Human Resources.
