TEC is Now S.W.COLE’s Taunton Office

July 2018, Taunton, MA: Tibbetts Engineering Corp. (TEC) is now S.W.COLE Engineering Inc. Throughout the month of June, TEC  transitioned to the Taunton office of S.W.COLE, one of eight offices throughout New England.

Acquired by S.W.COLE in 2017, TEC was founded in 1952 and provides construction materials testing, construction administration, construction inspection, and geotechnical engineering services to clients in Southern New England.

S.W. COLE Engineering Inc. was founded in 1979 by Steve and Wendy Cole. The 39-year-old firm has offices in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, and provides geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, special in

spections and geoenvironmental services. A subsidiary, S.W.COLE Explorations, LLC, provides geotechnical and environmental test borings, with 3 locations. S.W.COLE employs about 115 team members in New England.
